Senior Professor of Surgery at the University of Burundi and the University of Niamey
Professor Leodegal BAZIRA is a Medical doctor who post-graduated in General Surgery (University of Brussels), with a degree in public health (School of Public Health of Nancy-France). He followed continuous training in Hospital Management and planning, Emergencies and Disasters Management, Emergency Field Coordination Training, Leadership, Change and Performance Management, Middle-Level Management of the Extended Program of Immunization, Building and assessment of training programs for health personnel, and writing English effectively. His key qualifications are international consultant in public health, Public Health, Leadership and Management, Research for Health, Medicine and Surgery As professional experience he was  Senior Professor of Surgery at the University of Burundi and the University of Niamey – Niger and of Public Health at the Regional Institute of Public Health in Ouidah- Benin  World Health Organization Country Representative in Central African Republic and in DRC  Director of the Regional Public Health Institute Ouidah – Benin  WHO/Regional Advisor, Research Policy and Sustainable Health Development.
